About the guide

Hi, I'm Emily Schmidt. My husband Kevin and I love Scenic 30A, and friends are always asking us where to stay, where to eat, and which beach to pick. This guide is our answer, written down.

Everything here is written from the point of view of someone who actually goes: which towns suit which kind of trip, the restaurants worth planning a night around, and the practical details (parking, trams, beach rules) that make a week go smoothly. We check facts against official sources and update posts when things change.

In the interest of being upfront: we own Harbor Heights, a rental house near Grayton Beach. When it comes up, we say so plainly. No one pays us to recommend a restaurant, hotel or business on this site.

Highway 30A Guide is independent. It isn't affiliated with The 30A Company, 30A.com, Visit South Walton, or any HOA or rental agency.
